Summer in Deutchland: Part IV

One morning we decided to explore Luxembourg.  We spent the day in the Hamm Memorial Cemetery and in Luxembourg City.

Our first stop was the cemetery.

Then we were off to Luxembourg City.  We climbed to the top of the wall and looked down on the sights.

Mike and Betty were feeling a little more adventurous and got a meal described as hams, salad, and french fries.  It came…

I think they were quite surprised at how different it was from what they had imagined!

  1. Your pictures are always so pretty….of course I have to wait til I am at work to see them since this computer is much faster than mine at home! lol  I have some German pictures (prints)  listed on eBay right now that are just gorgeous and they remind me alot of some of the pictures you have posted on here. I don’t know if they were picture prints that were originally painted from the scenery there or what. Hmmm…  It is all sure beautiful though! Hope your day is going great. Love ya!

  2. You guys officially leave Germany in less than a year?? Crazy!!What date is Ryan expected home? I can’t remember.And.. as always, gorgeous pictures Love ya! Hope you have a great day!

  3. my mother had a brief two year stay in Germany when Hilter was in power.   Her nights were spent in underground bomb shelters.  She always spoke of how beautiful Germany is.   Your pictures are absolutely wonderful.
